yadlajwa, what is it?
Founded in April 2021, yadlajwa is a colorful brand of recycled clothing!
The fabrics are recovered locally or hunted down in flea markets in the region. The tablecloths, sheets or curtains that I collect are disassembled and then sewn up in my Bordeaux workshop to give them a second life.<3
how it works ?
The textile industry is one of the most polluting in the world and today represents an overconsumption in which we are all absorbed.
It is responsible for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions, more than aviation and shipping combined.:(((
In the continuity of my awareness, I redesigned my creations with a circular approach.
I decided to combine my ecological convictions and my love for creation by adopting the method of upcycling*
*UPCYCLING
Upcycling is the reuse of materials or products that are no longer used.
Recovered in their entirety, they are revalued to create new products of superior quality.
In the fashion world, this means extending the life of textiles through more responsible production.
This is called the circular economy :)
This is how the yadlajwa concept was born: finding the happiest and most expressive fabrics, while playing with the patterns.s and eras in order to offer vintage and avant-garde pieces!
Each piece is unique and follows the shapes of each while exploiting the styles that are unique to you.
The concept is to play with the cuts, patterns and materials so that they become infinitely versatile.
At yadlajwa nothing is lost everything is transformed;))

The clothes are sold, since my beginnings on the Cap Ferret market during the season, from April to September!
I was also lucky to bring together love for the party and my work by participating in several musical events in Bordeaux but also all along the west coast, it is above all the contact with people, this festive universe and happy that inspires me every day!
